Aashish Sinha

Hi, I’m Aashish Sinha, a robotics researcher with interests in controls, embodied AI, VLA, multimodal foundation models & RL. I am currently a research intern at IIIT-Hyderabad, where I work with Prof. Spandan Roy on graph-informed model predictive control for collaborative drone swarms.

I hold a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Dhanbad, where I worked with Prof. Vivek Bajpai & Prof. Arun Dayal Udai. I worked on vision-guided gantry crane, aerial manipulation, and embedded perception systems. My experience spans ROS 2, GNN, RL, MPC and hardware prototyping for real-world robotic platforms.
